The annual festival of fungi is back!
The Mendocino Mushroom, Wine and Beer Festival is just around the corner, November 3 – 12, 2017. The Mendocino region is home to some 3,000 varieties of mushrooms, many of them edible, like the rare candy cap mushroom with its intense maple syrup flavor and sweet fragrance. You’ll enjoy mushroom-themed dinners, guided foraging, and special themed rides on the popular Skunk Train (departing from Fort Bragg or Willits). Celebrate the region’s other award-winning products—wine and beer—at special mushroom-pairing workshops. And enjoy cooking classes, music, and exhibits.
